A Food Industry Engineer, she graduated from the Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann in Tacna and specialized in olive oil technology (IFAPA Mengíbar – Spain). She is the first Peruvian professional certified as an Expert in Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting by the University of Jaén. She is active in research, consulting, and university teaching in the olive oil sector, participating as a speaker at national and international events. She holds managerial roles in the export and institutional sectors, including the presidency of the Peruvian Olive Oil Producers Association.
